Our Pit Potpourri! Deodorant is one of our best-sellers. We’ve had great feedback about its effectiveness for busting stinky pits, and at only $9.50 for an all-natural, mostly organic deodorant, it’s a steal! If you haven’t tried our Pit Potpourri! Deodorant yet, pop into the studio today between 10am-1pm to pick a jar up, or you can purchase yours online – www.happybiome.com.au
My hubby is a big fan of our stink-be-gone paste. It took him awhile to get around the idea of rubbing the paste under his hairy underarms, but when he did, he was hooked! This is what he said: “As a man with a sizeable sweat-slick swath of an underarm, I can attest that this Pit Potpourri is awesome! So, I do a lot of stuff throughout the day and not only does this get me from shower to shower smelling great, but it also completely gets rid of and prevents chaffing and underarm rash (TMI sorry), but, you know, sore underarms is the ‘pits’ when you need to use your hands and move your arms around a lot. Nice work Filly!“ – Chris Bellette
Yay! We’ve had a few other guys purchase our deodorant as well, and are loving it. Awesome that the men are getting on the all-natural band-wagon too.
Hey, by the way, did you know I’m sharing a version of my deodorant recipe at our DIY Toxin-Free Hygiene+Suncare Workshop on Friday 31 March, 7pm? Spaces are limited and are filling up quick, so be sure to book in early – http://happybiome.com.au/…/diy-toxin-free-hygienesuncare-w…/
Toxic deodorants (pretty much all that are in the supermarket!) are one of the most HARMFUL products to put on the body. Antiperspirant deodorants clog skin follicles, and inhibit natural secretion of toxins. They also release tons of harmful chemicals into our bodies through our very absorbent ducts under our armpits – it can actually be worse than eating toxins, as it doesn’t get processed in the digestive system or the liver! Also toxins could enter straight into bloodstream via tiny cuts after shaving armpits. Some culprits in regular deodorants include Aluminium which is responsible for clogging pores and is linked to Alzheimers, and breast and prostrate cancer (due to interference of oestrogen levels – hormone receptors under your arms). Paragons is a Preservative and also interferes with oestrogen levels. Triclosan affects microbiome. Research shows ppl who use deodorant with triclosan have less microbial density under their arms, and more of the Staphylococcaceae strain which can be dangerous if dominant. This also leads to foul-smelling sweat due to increase in Actinobacteria. These are just a few of the toxins that can be found in regular deodorants – and there are many more! A very good reason to switch to an all-natural deodorant, whether by purchasing one like our Pit Potpourri! Deodorant or making your own.
