This is just one of the many reasons that I love Tassie! You only have to drive fifteen minutes out of town to find a road-side gem such as this. Free- range eggs, zucchinis, lemons, herbs, spuds and the most gigantasauras grapefruits I did ever see! Thank you mister and missus. I don’t know your names, but I feel your biomey love as I eat my homegrown-from-another goodies.
This is how I like to use grapefruit!
- 1 small red apple
- 1 small carrot
- 4 pink grapefruit sections
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ inch fresh ginger
- 6 red raspberries
- ½ cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 tbsp flaxseed meal
- 1 scoop protein powder (hemp, pea, rice or whey – I like a natural whey isolate)
- Water and ice as needed
- Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until a fluid consistency is reached.
- Add more water if needed
- Drink immediately
