Everyone has their foodie weakness, right? Some people crave chocolate, others pizza, some can’t live without their cup of coffee or glass of wine. Mine is a bit odd…and it becomes very hard to eat healthy around this time of the year. No it’s not Easter Eggs (that’s my mum’s bane…Humpty Dumpty Easter Eggs….Sorry Mum, hahaha). Mine are Hot Cross Buns! Soft and warm and smothered with butter. I have a hard time passing them in the supermarket!!! Luckily there are healthy homemade options that taste even better than the commercially made ones!
Wed 12 April, 7:15pm, I’m holding a FREE Easter Cooking & Essential Oils workshop at our Happy Biome Studio.
I’ll be demonstrating some ways to make your own dairy-free and refined sugar-free chocolate easter eggs (with delicious superfood fillings!), as well as your own healthy hot cross buns. We’ll be using food-grade Young Living essential oils to flavour and add healthful benefits to our Easter treats. There will also be the opportunity to learn more about the therapeutic properties of essential oils, specific to your needs.
